Seeking to be sensitive to the Lord’s leading, the intern program is offered each year, contingent upon the availability of qualified students. Class size is limited at eight students. Typically we would like to see five qualified students accepted by June 1 if we are to offer an internship the following September. If there is a lack of qualified students, those who have applied will be asked to wait on the Lord until the following year.

          The internship is nine months long. It begins on the first week of September with an orientation and dinner. This is for interns and their spouses. Formal instruction begins the following day. There will be two breaks in the training: four days at Thanksgiving (starting on the last Thursday in November) and two weeks at Christmas (typically five days before Christmas until the first week of January). The program ends the second to the last Sunday in May.
